Personal Statement
For over a decade I served as CEO of MATI Haifa - Small & Medium Enterprises Center. In this capacity I was responsible for numerous initiatives, including serving as a Partner in the establishment of the Boston-Haifa Life Sciences Initiative (BHLSI) B2B Program on behalf of Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) and the establishment of a Small Business Micro Loan Fund, Boston Haifa Connection.
With my extensive management expertise, I also played a major role in the founding of the Tefen Industrial Park, a subsidiary of the Iscar Group, owned by the leading industrialist Stef Wertheimer, where I was employed as the first CEO.
I have also worked as an entrepreneur, owning two businesses.
I was employed by the Jewish Agency for Israel as the Business Development Director for Project Aliyah 2000.
In addition, I worked abroad serving as the Regional Director for the Israel Aliyah Center in Los Angeles, California.
In terms of voluntary positions, I have been a longstanding member of the Haifa-Boston Economic Development Committee.
In addition, I was formerly a Lecturer on Entrepreneurship at Haifa University.
Graduate of the Tefen Entrepreneurship Program in collaboration with Harvard Business School, a two years program providing executive training to business leaders.
Graduated Bar Ilan University, with a focus on Political Science and Criminology.
